Other highlights included:
- The official launch of the Feed in Tariff program
- The announcement of numerous financial assistance programs for communities, aboriginal groups and municipalities from the Province of Ontario
- Initial connections made with a number of community groups interested in renewable energy
- Continued thirst for knowledge with attendance at workshops, lectures and webinars on community relations, renewable energy co-ops, grant funding and the basics of entrepreneurship.
The upcoming quarter will include attendance at the first annual Community Power Conference, more webinars on community energy in Ontario, and continued interaction with numerous Transition Towns.
